The Director, Corporate Services will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Office’s corporate and administrative functions, supporting the delivery of high-quality services that underpin the organisation’s effectiveness. This includes guiding the implementation and continuous improvement of governance frameworks, corporate planning cycles, and policy and compliance practices. The role is central to aligning business functions with the Office’s strategic direction and operational priorities, while ensuring accountability, ethical practice, and efficient resource management.
Working in close collaboration with the Deputy Official Secretary and other senior stakeholders, the Director plays a key role in shaping a values-based workplace culture, leading strategic initiatives, overseeing financial and human resource systems, and enhancing information and records management practices. This position also contributes to internal committee oversight and the coordination of governance reporting and risk management, supporting organisational excellence across all business areas.
You will be an accomplished and strategic leader with a depth of experience in corporate governance, organisational performance, and public sector administration. Your professional background will reflect a strong capability in delivering results in complex environments, alongside a commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability. You will have demonstrated the ability to drive organisational change, develop high-performing teams, and cultivate a constructive workplace culture that is aligned to strategic goals.
With exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you will engage confidently with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, providing sound, practical advice on matters including policy, governance, people and culture, and strategic planning. Your experience will include navigating legislative frameworks, managing budgets and systems, and influencing through collaboration and trust. You will hold a relevant qualification in business management or a related discipline, or possess equivalent experience gained in a similar senior corporate services leadership role.
