Increased Applications Do Not Equal Increased Quality

21 April 2026
Application volumes have risen across many roles.

This has not necessarily translated to improved candidate quality. There is a greater need for structured screening and validation to identify suitable talent.
Access to candidates remains only one part of the process. Identifying alignment and capability continues to require experience and judgement.

“Application volumes are increasing, but quality is not always following at the same pace. With more candidates in the market, the challenge has shifted from access to accurate identification of capability and fit.

More applications don’t make hiring easier, they make precision, experience, and judgement more critical than ever.”
